Historic Shipping Office - Akaroa Hotel

Had a really nice stay in winter. the staff were fantastic friendly and well experienced. - the hotel was placed in the very central location right in the centre of the town. - It was also really close to cafes, shops, water, and the beach.

Greatly enjoyed the place, had a nice stay in winter. The welcoming staff accommodated all the needs. The room was big and airy, the beds were exceptionally comfortable! It had lake views. Everything was simply excellent.

Clean hotel, greatly enjoyed to be right by several restaurants, and eateries and interesting stores thanks to great and fab location. The property staff were welcoming. Tbh, had a nice stay of 3 nights.

This place is centrally located, just a few feet away from Garden of Tane, and surrounded by a vibrant area with restaurants, bars, and eateries.

Convenient location close to restaurants, the wharf, and the harbor 🍽️. Also near the Lava Art Gallery and other popular spots for tourists.

The units are fashionable, new-fashioned with balcony overlooking the harbour as well as views across the harbour.

The rooms here are spacious and well-lit, equipped with everything you need. Plus, they come with a cool balcony that looks out onto the water - perfect for enjoying the awesome views! 🌅

Great winter stay! the location was beautiful, close to a lovely garden 🌿. I liked that it was near the town center and had a restaurant downstairs for convenience.

The building and rooms are nice and offer views of the harbour. the location is very central, making it easy to explore Akaroa. - the Historic Shipping Office is conveniently located near the Hinewai nature reserve and restaurants.

I had a fantastic stay at the Historic Shipping Office. The location was perfect, right on the waterfront with beautiful views. The room was spacious and parking was ample. The restaurant in the hotel served amazing food with a great view. I highly recommend this hotel.
